Replace the M.L.P. Sensor on the transmission, I know it sounds odd, but we have had a lot of the very same problems with that very same year and model car.

Seems the sensor is back feeding the ACP via the GEM Module, if you wish to test this theory, try using power windows, mirrors, and door locks, my guess that one or more of those systems will also be affected when car is in reverse.
