92' Accord EX
Had the heads rebuilt, and have torqued it back down acc. to the Hayne's book "everythings" car sat up for about 9mo and had some bad gas in it when I got it back together... Anyways, I boosted the octane, and ran it all the way out, then relaced the fuel filter, and put a fresh battery in. Now all I can get is the motor turning , but no cranking. Had that same problem when we ran it out of gas! The pump still kicks on when you turn the key I can hear it. And...Just before The crankshaft pulley fell off when it died on me, I had just replaced the Main relay/fuse (a gray box way under the dash!) What could this be? Oh and, the mechanic that worked on it before that needs some serious can's of you know what openned on him is not answerring my calls! A 15yr+ Honda certified mechanic not torquing the crankshaft pulley!!! Show's you my Luck! But anyways the new mechanic/friend that was helping me discoverred the gas cap wasn't wented to let the comp have the right reading and was shutting the pump off due to back-pressure. Anyone else out there have my kind of luck or should I just flat-bed it to a new mechanic, and fork over a bunch more??? Any help would be appreciated
Thanx, Justin In Louisiana
