You might need a new brake light switch, located on the top of the brake pedal stem (round $20-$30). Otherwise you could need a new fuse. It could be the Stop/Horn fuse, thats what caused this to happen on my car. I guess other things that could be wrong is a bad wire or bad solenoid somewhere in the transmission. Check if all your brake lights are working properly too! Happy huntin!
