Hi Randy;

Per my 90 Accord Manual, Fault Code 15 indicates the "NM Sensor" is either: disconnected, wiring open or shorted, or faulty. However...it says the symptom is "jerks hard when shifting".

You might check the NM Sensor and it's wiring.

(Recalling from memory, since my daughter's car Accord is not home now...) It is located on the passenger side of the tranny, on the front side. You can see it fron beneath the car. It's a flat, round sensor secured with one screw, and has 2 wires coming out. (I think there is another sensor on the back side of the tranny, as well.) The connector for the NM Sensor is mounted on the top side of the tranny, just below and forward of the distributor.

If you have an ohmmeter, disconnect the connector and read the resistance of the sensor. It should be 400-600 ohms.

Hope this helps...

Mike
