I think maybe the sensor/switch you are talking about was unplugged by a helpful freind of my daughter. I got it plugged back up. I still have an "S" (sports or ? )light which pops on at random on the instrument cluster. When it comes on it will only shift 1-2. When the light is off the car runs and shifts great. I know my way around a car pretty good.I am capable of rebuilding the trans and engine but some electronics stump me. The sports switch on the auto shifter seems to be working ok. There has to be a solenoid which makes this trans work in "S" mode or getting a signal from the trans ecu. Thanks for any more advice you may give
