Mike: I am illiterate when it comes to the engine of a car, all I know is that you put the key in the ignition and the car should start.

However, I do know that the 92 Honda Accord has a automatic transmission. From what you told me, if the radiator is drained there would be 3.7 quarts of anti-freeze still in the block. I understand that you say it may be hard to get the ratio right, but, in your opinion, do you think I may be able to do it this way, because I know if the entire system has to be drained, I have to bring it to the mechanic.

Also, if I can ask you one more question. Why is it that using 100% coolant might make a car overheat?

Thanks so much!
