Thanks, guys. Sounds like it would be exciting if I liked sports. As it is I'm just really annoyed because they've closed off all the side streets around the building I work in. Traffic is going to be a nightmare, it's going to take me forever to get home.

Let's see—things are getting started right now and the only people I recognize are the mother-daughter hag team of Melissa and Joan Rivers. Why are they here? Since when do they have anything to do with sports? Why are they standing there getting their picture taken on the red carpet? Ugh. I wish they made emoticons that signified eye-rolling, cuz I'd be using that right now.

I have binoculars in my office for occaisons such as this but they're not doing me any good today because I don't know who any of these people are anyway.

Samuel L. Jackson is there for god-knows-what reason. He's wearing a red beret. Now I'm excited. I love Samuel L. Jackson. Sigh. Well, that's that. Back to work. See, Phae—don't be fooled, it's really not that exciting. Just "there they are," and that's that.

What's way more fun, though, is when Grauman's Chinese Theater is hosting a movie premiere or if someone is getting a star on the walk of fame. When we have time some of us go down to gawk and it is SO much fun to heckle the stars. Not in a mean way, it's just funny to see them befuddled. When that movie "Valentine" came out last year a bunch of us went down to gawk at David Boreanaz. One of the other editors, a tiny woman with a big voice who likes to talk like her New York Jewish grandmother, started yelling at DB in this grandmother voice, pretending to be a crazed fan. She kept yelling "Angel! Angel!" The look on DB's face was hilarious.
