In reply to: Todd 's message, "Crap, what codec do you need to play the avi file?" on 10:38:22 10/11/03 Sat

I have ffdshow installed which is a codec pack and it plays the raw file fine(haven't watched the subbed file, because, really, I just downloaded the thing to see what it looks like)

Unfortunately, in order for ffdshow to work properly, previous versions of DivX and Xvid needs to be uninstalled first.

Plus in using GSPOT which is a program which checks what kind of codecs you need to view a file, when I checked the raw file, it says that it uses DivX 5.0 and MPEG-4 decoder(?)

And I uses RealPlayer to view it(though I only use Real because I prefer its interface more than Windows Media Player and BSPlayer)

Hope that helps...
