One of the undercurrents that I have noticed on the military blogs is that they are focused on terrorists
as the enemy. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as they are the enemy of what we consider freedom.

But look at some of the unintended consequences: Empowering the Shi'ites? We will have terminal war.
Already there is a backlash against the Sunnis in Iraq because of Saddam.

Now, getting back to the military. It has been said here that there will be enough patriots who will rise up and defend this country. If we have been brainwashed, against
WHOM? I can tell you this that most retirees would go again in a heartbeat, but they need to know WHO the enemy is and WHY they are the enemy. So where are these patriots to come from? And who will lead them if God has forsaken us? I will mention this briefly and then I really have to scoot. I believe that there are righteous men and women who have joined the US military for that purpose and it will be made known when the time is right.

Clinton did a hatchet job on the militias when he was in office. To be associated with one now is to bring scorn and derision on the member or associate or defender. But Clinton did something even more insidious than paving the way for 9-11: Ruby Ridge and Waco. I watched in horror as a military tank was used against US CITIZENS. OUR OWN PEOPLE...and yet the extremists are MORE of a threat than David Koresh. Why so hard on a Christian and soft with a Muslim?
