I agree with you very much that no one should be forced in, but I do believe that people should honor their contracts.

At the present, I'm uncertain the other side of the contract is being honored, fairly. I'm not close to intimately informed about what clauses may or may not exist at the time an individual joins, so I may be talking out of turn here. But it leaves me with a very uncomfortable feeling when I hear of service personnel being held beyond their initial term of enlistment (unwillingly); retired personnel being reactivated.

Am I ill-informed or nuts?
