Finally, some place to ramble about nothing.

You know, the American consumer has been taught to buy in quantity. At stores, if you boguht a bigger can or box of food, you got it for less. But has anybody noticed that is no longer true? Check those prices close because stores are charging more (per ounce, gallon, etc.) for the bulk items than they are for the smaller.

And it doesn't just stop there. I just bought new checks from my bank. You could order in quantities of 75 or 150. If you boguht the 150, it cost you $2 more than buying two boxes of 75.

And people fall for that. We have become so automated at going for the larger quantity that the majority of consumers don't even bother to check on the price comparisons. Maybe it's just in Texas?
