She is 1 1/2 years old now. No, not from a breeder. I got her from a shop. I also have a male that is 8 months old. He is completely different, loving, cuddly, very funny. I did get him from a breeder, so it sounds like that explains why they are completely different. They both play together and have a wonderful time together. But she acts as though she hardly knows me. She is very cat-like with her behavior, and my touching her seems to be on her terms. Thank you for the obedience training suggesiton.

What is a BYB mill? I know about puppy mills, but I am not familiar with BYB.
