Corrine, I have recently logged on to this web site and saw your information on Clarence Sydney Diels. I would like to inform you that I knew your cousins father because I was one of the boys at the school. I was there from 1959 - 1962. I was under his supervision as our Catering Officer before I joined the Merchant Navy. He lived in the grounds of the Captains premises. We had a nickname for Clarence which was `Keyhole Katie Diels` because of the amount of times he squinted his eyes. I was still at the school when Clarence left to take up a Fish and Chip shop at the top of Porishead. I have never seen or heard of him from that day on until I logged on to this web site and read your message. You are welcome to email me and ask me any questions and I will try to answer them.
