Subject: BTS Formidable

I would be pleased to hear from any boys who were on/at the BTS Formidable (National Nautical School Portishead Somerset) at any time. I was there from September 1938 until March 1942 when I went away to sea as a Deck Boy. I have quite a bit of history regarding the school, and have written about it myself. My own writings can be seen at the Bristol Record Office, and at Folk Hall, Portishead which is the local Council Chambers. I don't know how long this site has been "afloat", but I am delighted to see it and to contribute to it.
