I'm posting this here since you haven't officially recced this to the list, although, I think you should.
Yes, seeing the canon as I have, I have no problems picturing this happening. I should, because it is viscious and degrading for both characters involved, however neither of them have shown any signs of being any better than the brutal and tormented people that they seem to be in the fic.
That said, I agree with the comments everyone made about the inconsistant writing, and the sometimes jarring dialogues. Nonetheless, a pretty accurate portrait of the sickness that was canon spuffy, and that last line - 'shut up spike', made my day.

I will, in time, if someone doesn't beat me to it. I'll also rec the Spike/Lorne fic I mentioned. But I have this strange desire to rec a non-Spike fic first, just to prove that I can do it. Of course, that would involve me reading non-Spike fic that hadn't already been mentioned at BBF...

It could happen.
