Subject: Hi. I don't know any of you, so I hope I'm not intruding, but I love talking about movies.

I'm from Crzy House and if you would like to know more about me, I have a profile posted there. click here for my profile Well, enough about me! LOL.

I haven't seen that many "gay" movies, and I haven't seen any XXX ones, but I've seen a couple of the non-xxx movies that you have mentioned. I hope to see some suggestions on here about what's good, so I will know what to rent in the future.

If I might make a suggestion. If everyone talked about the movies a little more in depth, instead of "I liked it" I think this would be a very entertaining and informational board.

For instance, I remember Lance and I talking on IM once about a scene in Edge of Seventeen that had just totally seduced him, and it made me rush right out and rent the video that same day just to see what scene he was talking about!! I wanted to see what had him so infatuated! I think he was just so totally surprised by his reaction. Because, he said it was so strong and unexpected...kind of like a kick in the gut only pleasurable and sexy...(my God I am explaining this so bad!! LOL!) But here is Mister Self-Confidence and he was being so shy and uncertain and almost embarrassed because he fell in love with the way someone looked in a film! How sweet is that! ::sigh:: He's such a closet romantic! LOL!

I think that maybe we all learn a little bit more about ourselves when something like that happens and we find ourself responding to scenes. But what do I know! LOLOLOLOL!

So maybe if more people describe a scene or an emotion or how someone looked or how something made you feel, then it will be so much more interesting. And whether a person has seen the film or not, it will certainly make them curious about it enough to rent it.

BTW, the scene Lance was so infatuated with...you remember when Eric drives down to college to find Rod, they go inside the dorm room. And they are sitting on the floor. The scene Lance fell in love with was the look on Eric's face, when he looks up at Rod all vulnerable, through tear streaked, smudged eye liner and says, "Then why don't you kiss me." awwwwwwwwww

::sigh:: I have to agree with him, that scene just makes me melt.
