I don't find the grammar mistake :|

A "might" and a "may" in the sentence......Do you really think the Chinese gov't would simply let the students go and pretend nothing has happened if the students retreated? I guess not. According to the usual way of how Chinese gov't deal with oppositions, the gov't would arrest the students.

I agree that the students were more emotional over rational. I also think that the students are disappointing after they are sent to US or other western countries. However, who could stay clear-minded by then? Usually this kind of revolutionary movement turns out to be radical, but the students remained self-controlled from beginning to the end....
