I mean, they are both women that hate women, right? You've got Ann, and whilst reading Paglia's columns in Salon, I got the impression that she's got a massive chip on her shoulder against het women that have uppity notions of not wanting to get beaten up and raped by men, or at least sees her reluctance vs. getting "roughed up" as a manifestation of Catherine MacKinnon-inspired antisex frigidity.
That, and she can't write a single column w/o lapsing into BabyBoomeritis-inspired "I'm cooler, and thus, more important than anyone born since 1970" shtick.
But she writes kick-ass art and cultural history stuff (Paglia, that is), so I'm torn.
