Subject: Ending my vacation

Hello, all.

I took a vacation from the Bar, because I felt I needed one.

I've seen the Bar deteriorate over the last couple of years, and needed to make sure I wasn't part of the reason for it.

I'm convinced I'm not (and welcome rants claiming I am), and it's deteriorating quite well on its own, without my help.

Of course I'm concerned that our group doesn't have the charge it once had, with the departure of several major members, some of whom apparently had personal problems with me, problems which I've never been able to fix, I guess, though the fixes weren't up to me to make. All is forgiven, in other words.

I'd love to come back here and find the same vitality we had about four years ago, when the regulars were posting regularly and we were all putting our latest bitchings into the mix and playing Twister with all of it, even tolerating Scott Tibbs and his idiotic psychedelic twists on the days' news.

If anything, the current Bush failure should energize us, rather than silence us. Is anyone out there?
