Subject: Limbaugh is no addict
I'm not a frequent poster here, but I feel I must step in to defend Limbaugh from these unwarranted attacks. As I understand it, Limbaugh has been accused of obtaining a few thousand pills at the most. A few thousand pills is nothing! I have friends who dissolve an oxycontin capsule in their morning coffee along with saccharine. Really people, this is nothing. Some of us just need a little boost to get the day going right. I'm sure Limbaugh has taken an illegal drug or two before his radio show. I mean, who hasn't used a substance to take the edge off before work?
My first job when I made it into the freeworld was as a gas station attendant. I huffed a little paint and ended up spilling a tiny little bit of gas on some old woman's car. I mean, it coulda' happened to anybody! The same people attacking Rush now came after me. Before I knew it, I was back in the big house and facing a civil case for some burns the old lady suffered. All because some old woman didn't have the sense to get out of her burning convertable! Some people, man, I tell ya'.
I can say this without hesitation: Rush Limbaugh's radio show is of a quality that makes it indistinguishible from other right-wing talk shows. I, for one, hope Limbaugh will come through this without any more trouble. There's just nothing wrong with trying to glean a little fun from this life, man. I mean, if it weren't for the interminable nonsense Limbaugh hears from liberals, he wouldn't have to take the smack in the first place. Give the guy a break. Besides, I know Clinton's behind all this, somehow. Rush, if you're online today- I'm gonna take a hit for you, buddy.
