Hello All,

I have been a lurker on this board for years now, I always look forward to coming here and reading your wonderful thoughts. I have been a "obcessively devoted" Harm and Mac Shipper from the beginning, and I just wanted to say that the finale was "interesting" to say the least. Now I am far from DPB's number one fan, but I must give him kudos for one of the best finales I have ever seen, Yes we got what we wanted and I am still wearing a cat ate the canary grin and dancing around my house YAY SHIPPERS! but even more that episode IMVHO showcased all the aspects of true love and utter loyalty, it showed us how each character was able to step out and shine, alas none more brightly then our beloved Harm (DJE gave one of the best performances I have ever seen period from anyone) For me each of those flashbacks was a journey showcasing the handsome, thickheaded, honourbound CAPTAIN ;) that we know and love and we got to watch him realize that no matter how hard he tried, no matter what he told himself or what he tried (physical seperation, emotional seperation) his heart kept pulling him back to the one person in his life who loved him unconditionally no matter what they went through, again I have to say the same for Mac they have always been there for each other and always will be there for each other period. Im glad Mac didn't verbally express her feelings, the most powerful thing she could have done is what she did with her eyes, she gave him unconditional love and support, only this time Harm could see it. Now that I am done rambling lol (sorry guys there is a point really) I think Mac resigned to go to London with Harm, in Mac's own words all a women really wants is "A good Husband, a family and lots of conmfortable shoes) I have never been to London but I hear they have excellent shopping ;) in other words they both finally got what they wanted for so very long. Each Other

  • This has been bugging me since about the 2nd or 3rd time I've watched the ending of "Fair Winds and Following Seas": In both of the other coin tosses (during "Silent Service" and "Tribunal"), Mac called heads both times. Why did she choose tails this time? I'm curious to see if everyone thinks this is significant or just is just coincidence. (NT) -- Christine - major lurker, 02:28:43 05/06/05 Fri
