Mac went to Harm's apartment to "talk about you and me." Good for her, about d**n time! Personally, I'm really glad they showed HER going to HIM. That is critical to my personal view of their relationship. She wanted to work it out, but I think she may have been ready to walk away if Harm hadn't taken the opportunity to get right to the point.

My question to you all is this: *IF* Mac hadn't shown up, do you think Harm, after packing his last box, would have gone to her?

I think he would have, based on his conversation w/ Mikey and the flashbacks. I think he would have finished his packing so Uncle Sam could bring in the movers, and then hustled over to her place to make his case and proposal. That's not an ending I would have liked, because, personally, I think it was Mac who needed to go to Harm, to show him she was on the same page. She picks up on his urgency to settle things from his words ("only 12 hours", "deadline") and his actions (that amazing first kiss), and she uses the word "proposing". Definately on the same page. And things spiraled upward from there. I don't think it would have been the same scene if Harm had gone to her. What do you all think?

Also, did you catch this? When she starts to fall back into the fatalism of "we're right back where we started", he doesn't let her. You don't see it on the screen except for the way Mac seems to get caught up short, but he obviously pulls her quickly to him - a little - so she'll look at him when he asks "Do you believe in fate?" It's like he's saying, "Don't slip away from me now - I've got an idea!" Love it
