A Star

The actors in their film world
Portray characters like you and I
As our life stories are unfurled
It's their life they would belie
The story lines are captures
From normal lives accounts
They twist to add the rapture
As our plight they recount
Add just a little lust to spark
Greater interest and more seats
From a tale that is quite stark
They heighten to make it sweet
Towards this lonely portal
Many aspire to be a star
Just to play the mortal
That they already are
A star's wish is just the same
They wish to play our role
It's our spirit they would claim
To make their own life whole
To be famous, why the fuss
Be content with who you are
For each and every one of us
In our life-story are its "Star"
