Stephanie tried to work with the transitions. Stephanie cantered Spice up to a corner and nudged Spice several times with her outside leg. Quickly, he picked up a canter. "Relax!Try not to bounce around in the saddle, it makes his strides look more choppy!" Jennifer advised. Stephanie tried to move her hips more, and not her butt or shoulders. "That's good....now trot," Jennifer commanded. Stephanie brought Spice down to a trot, and then a walk. "When you bring him down to a walk, you still have to keep him moving! Squeeze him on a little! It looks like he just broke down if you don't keep him moving!" Jennifer called. "You girls can come over here now and get off, I think that's enough for one day!" Jennifer said. Stephanie looked at her watch. "We've been riding for 45 minutes? It didn't seem like all that long!" Stephanie said to Melanie. "Believe me, time riding horses flies by!" Melanie said. The girls dismounted their ponies and untacked them in the stable aisles. they returned their tack to the tack room. Stephanie and Melanie brushed the sweat marks off thier ponies backs, and picked out their hooves. They put their ponies away. "What should we do today? I feel like either going to the racetrack and helping out there or going shopping. Which one?" asked Stephanie.
