Melanie walked down the stable ailse and peeked into Rosie's stall. "Hey Bogsdan, want to come on a trail ride witth me?" Bogsdan glanced up from where he was brushing Rosie. "Sure. It's a beautiful day." "Great, I'll go get Princess." Melanie gave him a winning smile and hurried off down the ailse. She grabbed a halter and brought her horse up from the paddock, where she had been happily grazing, and clipped her in crossties. After Princess was groomed & tacked up, Melanie buckled her helmet strap and mounted. She settled into the saddle & gathered the reins. "Let's ride to the river and back," Bogsdan begged, trotting up on Rosie. "Ooo, yeah!" Mel closed her eyes and imagined the clear, sparkling water on that fresh winter morning. "Lead the way!" The urged thier ponies into canters.
