Stephanie and Samantha were playing with Prince Charming, Victory's colt. He was in the paddock and they were chasing him. His long knobby legs streached as he cantered around the paddock. Every now and then he stopped and sniffed the air. Soon Stephanie and Samantha were going to try to halter break Prince. It would be a long process, though. Samantha hid the small nylon breakaway halter behind her back while Stephanie coaxed Prince with some Young Horse Oats. He curiously sniffed the food. He walked around behind Samantha's back. He grabbed ahold of the halter and bit it. He pulled it out of Sam's hands and trotted off with it. "Prince....give that to me please! This is for your own good!" Samantha said, chasing after the playful colt. Stephanie finally caught the foal and got back the halter. Stephanie took off her wide headband and used it as a blindfold for Prince. Then Samantha slid the halter over his head. Then she took off the blindfold. Prince went hysterical, he galloped around the field shying and shaking his head. Eventually Samantha got the leadline on while Steph calmed him down. Then they led him back to the paddock, freed him from the halter, and he trotted off to be with his mom.
