*she enters the barn and starts the day by feeding and grooming the horses. then she helps Michelle ride Bailey. Michelle wants Saddle's help to ride Barnum so Saddle offers her the chance to ride Silver Diamonds, her prized percheron stallion to cool him out. Hannah mounts and adjusts the stirrups. instantly, she can tell she is on a very well bred horse. he pulls the reins impatiently as he waits for her to give the signal to start, then eagerly moves into his long striding walk. Hannah smiles happily and uses very light aids to control the stallion. he was the most responsive horse she had ever ridden, especially compared to some of the barn sour ponies she had ridden at the adoption agency. she is dissappionted when Saddle tells her it is time to get off the beautiful percheron but instantly dismounts, not wanting to annoy Saddle. "thanks for letting me cool him out" she tells Saddle as she helps Michelle untack Barnum. then she goes to catch Dun and spends a long time grooming him to ride. she tacks him up and leads him to the ring where there is some mounted games stuff set up, some poles and barrels and other things. she warms the pony up, walking trotting and cantering in circles. then she trots around the poles to warm up a little more before cantering and finally galloping through them, the dun pony's legs turning into a black and yellow blur. he flies through the poles, switching leads automatically and powering back to the finish. she walks the pony a minute and praises him. she had no idea he was so quick and could do the poles so well. after his breathing is normal she tries the barrels a few times before cooling him out and bathing him. then she helps bring in the horses to feed. she takes a long time grooming Stormy again, the lovely gray mare's foal would be hers when it was born, she would love it no matter what it was like, the foal was meant to be hers, she was sure of it. she couldn't wait for it to be born. any day now, she guessed. she rests her hand on the mare's side, waiting for the foal's kicks to bounce her hand. she smiles and talks to the foal "your going to be mine, i'll love you no matter what happens to you, no matter what your like, you'll be all mine from the day your born to the day you die" she pats the mare one more time and blankets her, then carefully locks the stall door and walks out of the barn, following Saddle and Michelle*
