***** Kylee was so happy! After watching her mom, Alana, and her little sister, Annie, ride her new pony Fleatwood. Kylee wanted to ride her pony. She knew the drill... she groomed Little Squirt, tacked him up, and then mounted. She walked her pony over to the Kentucky Dream Stables office where she found her mom. Kylee said, "Mom, can I walk over to our house and practice in the riding ring?" "Yeah, sure. Be really careful when crossing the street please! Hey, will you take your little sister with you? I bet she'll have fun riding Fleatwood!" said Alana. "Sure, that's fine!" said Kylee. She turned her pony around when her mom said,"Wait, what are you doing?" "I'm only going to do some jumps" Kylee replyed. "Make sure your sister doesn't do anything more then a trot and make sur eshe does not try to jump yet!" said Alana. "Okay, I'll watch her" said Kylee with a wave. Kylee trotted up to stables where she found her little sister talking to some kids. "Annie, would you like to go riding with me? Mom said you can ride Fleatwood over to the house with me!" Annie nodded her head so fast it looked like she was going to fall over! She quickly said good bye to her friends and left with her older sister. When they got to Fleatwood's stall Kylee helped Annie get Fleatwood set for the ride. It was already lunch time and Kylee wanted to start riding! Finally when they were finished they trotted over to their house. When they got there they went to the outdoor riding ring and Kylee told Annie, "Mom said you can't jump anything yet, and you can't do any gait over a trot, okay?" Annie nodded. She didn't care as long as she could be around her pony. Then Kylee told her that she could ride around the ring but not to go out of the ring or get in Kylee's way. Kylee got to work right away. She figured Squirt had enough exercise by walking and troting around. She moved to the first jump. It was a small jump to see how Squirt jumped. She jumped it with total ease!! She moved to a little larger jump and Squirt made that beautiful too! Kylee was so happy! Squirt had a beautiful and wonderful way of landing that Kylee loved so much! When it started to get dark Kylee told Annie to start walking back to Fantail Creek. Before they left the put on their reflectable safety gear that they rode while riding on the rode. They made it safely to the stables. They were so worn out that they asked their mom if they could spend the night at Fantail Creek. Alana said yes and brought out three cots and three sleeping bags. All three of them slept in the stable and fell asleep right away. All of them dreaming about riding their horses....
