I guess I can agree with you if you read it like that. I interpreted the article differently. I guess I was just thinking the article was mostly talking about the societal ideal of motherhood that you makes feel guilty if you don't live up to. Our society has definite "public expectations" of motherhood. And it is hard to feel like you really measure up.
