Wishville is disappointing to me, but I think if it were the only album of theirs I'd heard I'd really like it. I have been a big fan long enough that their last three albums have been eagerly anticipated by me. When the previous one was so great, I couldn't believe they topped themselves. This last one...didn't. I really urge you to find Adam and Eve if possible!

That's cool you like them though. I did find that the album grew on me--after my initial disappointment I made myself listen to it a dozen times or so over the next couple weeks.

I could see that--he's got a great voice. When they opened for Belly (what a travesty--we left after their set), Tanya Donnelly--whom he was dating at the time--came out to sing their duet ("Judy's Staring at the Sun"), and her voice just sounded weak live, as a lot of singers do. But his was so strong by contrast (something I had been taking for granted in the rest of the show).

His cousin, I think, is the vocalist for some classic heavy metal band...Judas Priest maybe? Not sure.

LOL, I'm not a real lyrics person (though I have definitely moved in that direction because of Kate's influence). I honestly can't think of what you mean. :)
