This is a difficult one for me:

I have a friend who struggled w/anorexia as a teenager/young adult; when she was in her late 20s after 2 kids and a divorce she "rewarded" herself with some liposuction...Now she had long been passed the anorexia, she had no intentions of having any other kids and was in GREAT shape, she had some minor fat pads that would not leave her body no matter the amount of exercise, so she decided to get rid of them with Lipo. I must admit that my first thought was that this was a continuation of the anorexia and that she would NEVER be happy with herself, years have past and she still has not had any other cosmetic surgery and has no interest in doing so, she's happy with the results.

Now, for me :); I will definitely be having the veins on my legs done as soon as I am sure that 3 kids are enough. Definitely vanity comes into play with me, I do not like the way I look in the clothes that I am most comfortable in and feel that this is probably one of the least invasive types of cosmetic surgery you can have, tho I've also considered skin resurfacing as well for my face.

Sure the money people spend on these procedures is "wasted", but hey people waste ALOT of money on everything. LOL friend of mine just had a Pampered chef party and she spent $18 on an icecream scoop.
