Loss of hope
Loss of dreams
Not possible to fight the good fight
Is it worth the struggle?

Loss of the one beside me
It just is not fair

Loss of what I once set out to do
Loss of what I thought could be
Loss of courage
Loss of strength

My heart cries out to You
to renew my strength
to give me new perspective
so I will not give up...

My tears...will they call to You from the earth?
Are they not in vain?
I cried over so many...suffered with them
Only to lose them
It is agonizing to know
Please let it not be in vain
Please hear my cries

Even if it is but one, it IS worthwhile
And so it is...because there's more than one
And I am not willing to give up ever
