Have you ever heard of the book, "A Year to Live," by Stephen Levine? He does a lot of work in the hospice movement, and devised this year-long program in which one acts as though they've only got twelve short months left. It's ful of exercises and meditations that help one to live more consciously in the here and now. A very powerful tool.
