EXACTLY! We need more people with BRAINS! There are already enough brainless teenage popstars & their gullible, obsessed fans! I fear for our future! Why? Because these teenageers waste their time obsessing over these crapsatrs and waste so much time trying to look & act like them that they forget all about schoolwork and other things that are infinately more important!!!! Then, one day, they look back and say: 'Why am I so bad at my schoolwork? Why am I failing? What am I going to do for a living?" And they are completely clueless and miserable. So there. That's what I think. Thank you for pointing that out.

Ahhhh, yes. Sitcoms . . . I HATE THEM!!! I also hate crappy propaganda shows on 'WE' (Woman's entertainment) and 'LIFETIME' (television for women). What bathos! What crap! It's like watching the same plot over and over and over and over . . . The man is almost ALWAYS the bad guy - like a psychokiller who stalks women or beats or kills his wife - just to let you know.

Ho-hum. Boring. Who cares about 'reality shows'? You're right, they do not represent anything having to do with real life. If people want to know what a 'reality show' really is, they should get a life!

>4. MTV. I JUST DON'T LIKE IT, OR THE STUFF IT

I only liked 'Daria' because of the irony. Other than that, I totally agree! I hate those stupid rude, lewd, and crude music videos. This generation's music sucks, anyway!!!

No. It does not belong in America . . . at least not on television. Some of the 'cleaner' stuff migh be okay for people who are learning Japanese and want to get a programme in the original language - usually with English subtitles - but it should not be on TV for little kids to get quick access to it. Most Japanese parents watch shows with their children & will talk about their family values. The Japanese are quite family oriented and usually eat dinner at the table with the entire family present. It's a whole different culture ftrom America, where kids can just about watch whatever they want, sometimes have TVs in their rooms, and their parents are pretty much clueless!

Another thing is that Anime fans in America LIKE the perverted stuff & ask for it! So most of the kid-friendly stuff never gets sent over here, because the Japanese THINK we like the wierd/ sick/ violent/ perverted stuff.
