Video games don't make kids violent. Something else is their life makes the child think that violence is alright. They are edging near the cliff and seeing violence in video games makes them violent. The game itself doesn't. I've been playing video games for years, violent and non, and I haven't gone on a bloody rampage. So just stop using video games as a scape goat.
I am glad though you're not one of those people who say that video games are pure evil and should be burned.
