We're losing our fall break (a week), a few days at Christmas, and going to June 8th. We are usually done before Memorial Day. Which means we go to school on Memorial Day. I just don't get it. I don't know if it's a "Southern" thing or not, but as a kid up north, we always had Memorial Day off. It was important! -- ABCra XYZee

Wow! Here the schools routinely go thru mid June. They never end in May. How many days are in your school year? We do 180. I'm really surprised you don't have Memorial Day off.. but even more surprised school generally ends BEFORE then.
