  • Yeah, I definitely go every year, it's just that I hate all types of appointments like that. Appointments in general are a nuisance to me. But on a more personal level, my best friend had some abnormal cells the last time she had a pap smear, so they took a biopsy, but luckily it turned out to be non-cancerous. • Lis, it may be faster to fry the tortillas lightly in a skillet, then stick a soup can in the middle-that will give them a fluted shape, too. As for food, how about maybe some ceviche (there are plenty of good packaged ones) and tortilla chips or a burrito bar? If you're sticking with Mexican, that is. • I understand completely, C. I fell in love with our house because of the character. It was built in 1926 and the owner didn't believe in squaring anything. • oooh - I've got some from REALLY the past, lol (or at least about as far PAST as a youngun like me can boast) - anyone remember COMMODORE 64's!!!! LOL - I loved that computer - had two really great games on the TAPE drive - a Snoopy fighting the Red Baron game, and a Lemonade stand game (had to figure out how much sugar and lemons to buy, etc) - of course it also had this really fun game that was about this little person whom "lived in your computer" and whom you had to keep happy - send him books to read, etc - and he'd write you letters which is how you'd find out if he was mad at you....   • Then, on to the next computer - I'm not sure if its the one my dad built (from all the tiny pieces) - or if it was a different one - but it definately had OREGON TRAIL - still the coolest computer game of all time on it (well it may have been on the Commodore I don't remember - but I don't think so - it was hard to find stuff for the Commodore because everything in the comptuer store was IBM or IBM compatable at the time) - anyway that was at least 1 or 2 computers before our first computer with Windows 3.1 on it (ooh I thought it was really weird - which then of course windows 95 was weird compared to 3.1)...     • and then off hand - because it could be played on any computer (still can I think as long as you have a dos prompt) is the ever fun (because if you learn at least a little basic you can change it) monkey banana bomb game (anyone know what the real name of it is?) you know where you take turns throwing bananas at each other and blowing up skyscrapers - based on velocity and all that - of course its fun if you go in and change the basic commands - you can make the bombs destroy big ol chunks out of your opponent's buildings, but make theirs not hardly make a dent in yours, lol!! (I'm supposed to be writing a paper - if you're wondering why the long 3 part dissertation on computer games here - and I'm not even up to when I was in highschool!) We got the Commodore when I started kindergarden because that is what our school district used at the time.
