    • Shih Tsu's are GREAT for folks that have alergies. They have "hair" instead of fur and tend not to cause the reactions "regular" dogs do for folks w/ alergies/asthma. They can also go from a complete standstill to being in the air in less than a split second. Jade would stalk us, then rush for the cage wall to "scare" us. She also has a reputation for being a brat. If you're working around her cage, she'll reach thru and FWAP you just because she can (it's the only time anyone's grateful that she's been declawed), or she'll steal your tools, bring them inside and break them.   • Hee hee you guys are the best. I was able to throw a lot of still-packed boxes into my basement and fully plan on leaving them there until September. Howevvvvver...I didnt pack very well. I didn't have long to do (I waited until the very last minute because I'm just cool like that) so I threw stuff into boxes as I found it laying on my floor. This means my clothes, dvds, jewlery, makeup, and shoes are dispersed throughout random boxes that I guess I now have to go through.   • Unfortunately, dorm storage at Harvard is only for kids who live more than 150 miles away (which I guess makes sense considering that most of the kids DO live far away). I was able to store my futon under my friends name, but everything else had to come home with me. In addition, I ended up with a whole trunkload of things that belong to my friends which were too valuable/breakable for them to put in storage. Those have yet to make it out of the car. My backseat has also been taken over by this weird shower-stand THING that is in 4 parts that my future roommate found in the trash that she absolutely HAD to have. We always had until about two days after to be completely moved out, but before we moved we had to be checked out by an RA which involved having everything out, clean, and fridge defrosted, etc. We had to have everything out of our rooms before our check out time and after we had 15 minutes to get ourselves out physically from the dorm.   • "I" have sold(I might add MULTIPLE TIMES)e-mail photo's of my puppies. Folks bid on them and I e-mail them out! heck, I LOVE sending pics of my puppies ANYWAY so... LOL! The only problem I ever had was one poor dear thought she was actually buying a puppy. I let her out of the deal. Other then that I've not had any problems and there's only been once I posted them that they DIDN'T sell. I tried to sell bunny pictures once, but e-bay took it down because it said I had the words CHOOSE or CHOICE or something like that and they said those words are confusing to buyers. • The book I am reading now is kind of interesting. It is Empire Falls by Richard Russo. HBO has made a miniseries based on the book which is scheduled for the end of the month. • Hmmm...let's see. The last movie that sticks out in my mind is Phantom of the Opera. Mixed opinions. I liked pretty much everyone but the Phantom.   • I have not seen the movie yet, but I saw part of the interview with the actors. Did you know that one of the scenes was filmed during the World Series game last year? Wow to be there, during the World Series with the Red Sox, they were lucky. And they were told about half an hour before they flow out that they were going. They said that only the main actors went there, no make up people, no extras, they did their own make up, wardrobe, everything. But they got to watch the game. Do you know my favorite commercial, it is the one that the guy is at the gym, he weighs himself, then goes a few feet and then comes back and weighs himself again and is very mad when sees that he hasn’t lost any weight. Reminds me of myself. I used to get very angry in the morning when I weighed myself. I used to get very irritated at it. Since seeing this commercial, I just kick the scale and move on.         • Which program are you following? My friend followed the Core program last year (I think that is what is called), the one that you can eat certain things but no limit to how much. She lost about 12 pounds and made it to her goal. Since then she has gained a few pounds back but she just started again. Feel free to post here about your progress so that we could cheer you up. • LOLOL! I was asking myself the same question Nadja. We got about 3 inches ourselves. Annoying, eh? Although this is not entirely uncommon. We've had snow in mid-May often enough. In fact, I'd take this over sweltering Florida weather any day. If you're cold, you can *always* put more clothes on. If you're hot, you can only take so much off without getting arrested.
