Subject: aw - she's a shih tsu right? I really want to get either a shih tsu or a lhasa apso when I move out into my own apartment the first of the year...can't have an indoor dog here with my mom's allergies (not to mention it would get our outdoor dogs upset!)

[> [> [> Shih Tsu's are GREAT for folks that have alergies. They have "hair" instead of fur and tend not to cause the reactions "regular" dogs do for folks w/ alergies/asthma. I can tell you this, she was without a doubt the HARDEST dog to housebreak! Man! Thankfully she's so small her messes were likewise but still! Sheesh! -- Luoodles who is glad her Labradors have better manners! LOL!, 22:23:19 06/02/05 Thu [1]

[> [> [> [> don't tell me that part LU!!!!! I think a good deal of the problem with housebreaking Shih Tsus are their bladders are so small... its one of the reasons I'm looking at Lhasa Apsos - because they're rather similar in a way (similar hair/fur and all) but being slightly bigger, they also have bigger bladders, lol! -- Aria, 16:58:04 06/03/05 Fri [1]
