I understand completely, C. I fell in love with our house because of the character. It was built in 1926 and the owner didn't believe in squaring anything. Drove hubby crazy when he laid the floor tile. Just today we talked about replacing the roof in the spring. The windows need replaced too. By the time we're finished, we will have replaced just about everything. Sometimes I'm in friends' houses that are more modern and I'm a bit envious. My next house will be on Sanibel Island, so I guess I'll be here for a very long time. -- ABCra XYZee
