Subject: JAG

After years of dancing and angst, silly stories, and some not-so-silly, uniforms, and round robins, JAG comes to an end.

I have to be honest and say I'm a little sad to see this happen. However, I haven't watched much of this season's eps due to my schedule. I guess what I miss are the episodes from a few seasons back.

My favorite thing about JAG is the friendships I've formed with fans of the show. I'd be lost if I didn't have C, Amanda, Sara, and the Cranky One to talk to nightly. I have several others on my IM list, but I don't get to talk to them too often.

What is your favorite JAG memory? What is your favorite episode? What show will you become addicted to now?

My favorite JAG memory would be plural--the friendships, Tales O'Luoodles, the round robins.

My favorite episodes were Washington HOliday, To Russia with Love, Gypsy Eyes, Yeah, Baby...notice they're from the older seasons...

Your turn....

[> Replying to my own thread....I forgot to mention which show I'll become addicted to next. Well, I became addicted a couple years ago, but I still enjoy it and that would be Alias. Other than that, I don't watch much TV. -- Lisa, 13:14:52 04/28/05 Thu [1]

[> Well.....Yeah Baby was the first ep I watched (but it was under duress and I wasn't "hooked"), later when I was an addict it remained a favorite, but it's hard for me to choose. I'm with Lisa on the friends thing. Other shows I'm now addicted to--oh it's bad folks, it's bad.... in order from favoritest to favorite: Alias, Veronica Mars, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Gilmore Girls, the OC, and Grey's Anatomy . Seven shows...that's not TOO bad, is it? -- C, 17:33:04 04/28/05 Thu [1]

[> Well...(inside b/c I talk too much) -- AmandaW, 17:55:52 04/28/05 Thu [1]

the show I'm addicted to now is Alias...it's about the only new show that I make a point to watch (and I *still* forgot it last night...argghh). Anyway, moving on...my favorite eps are Webb of Lies, Full Engagement, and Gypsy Eyes, among others. My favorite JAG memory has very little to do with the show....just my online buddies! I first found Maeve's over 7 years ago and had so much fun with that group...MichelleB, Katherine, and Laura were just crazy and caused me to be so addicted to the board while I was in college....we discussed everything from feminism to marshmallow peeps to *cough*jogging*cough*. Then LuLu came along and the rest is history! I met so many more people with chatting as well...whatever would I do without my cyber mama Lisa, cranky Shane, C, Saraserena, and all the others?? Just thinking about some of our chats over the years makes me actually laugh out loud. :)

[> Oh wow! My best JAG memories...too many to name, but I think I'll go inside... -- Sara--The Velveteen Rabbit: Cuz I know you like rabbits and I know you like cheese., 22:15:42 04/28/05 Thu [1]

I will always be grateful for the friends I made at Maeve's and then later at Elfy's JAG chat and especially the handful that I still get the opportunity to speak to daily: Lisa Lijo, C, AmandaW, and Clifford Alvarez "The Cranky One". There are others I speak to that I wish I saw more often. Yes I'm talking to you Canrane and Sheila, but I understand how Real Life is myself as you can see from my lack of postage recently.

Oh geez memories, memories. I'm not sure I can even remember all the names of my favorite episodes anymore. I was always a shipper so all the shipper eps stand out in my mind. I especially liked the "To Russia with Love" and "Gypsy Eyes" storylines and stand by my belief that the 3-4 seasons were the best of the show. "Full Engagement" is another I personally liked. While I'm sad to see the show go, I do think it has probably run its course and wish the best for the cast and crew. Thanks to them for the memories!

I'm not really watching too much TV anymore so I don't have any current addictions. I used to be a Friends fan as well and still keep myself entertained with the DVDs if that counts. I watch American Idol when it is on and enjoy The Amazing Race. I guess that's about it...

[> I miss the chat room!!!! (and yes I know I should leave my yahoo IM up - but since a lot of times no one's on when I am, and or they aren't on Yahoo and I don't want MSN messenger) - anyway - I miss our old chats... and I blame myself for losing touch with all of you as much as I did, but what do you expect during college...busy busy busy... -- Aria, 09:50:15 04/29/05 Fri [1]

and incase anyone does really care - my yahoo IM name is Aria2124 and you can use that yahoo e-mail account too - that was part of the other problem, my old e-mail addy went kapooey at some point - can still log in, but get no e-mails to it, even ones I try to send to it myself...

I thought I'd have to have a user name - but its using my e-mail addy I put in... kind of odd - but anyway...

[> OMG! I totally forgot about this! Hmm...I should check in ag Maeve's. But ITA Lisa. The best thing about JAG for me was Maeve's. I remember the days when you could refresh every minute and find two new posts each time. (inside sil vous plait) -- Canrane - exams are *finally* over. Woohoo!, 12:24:57 04/29/05 Fri [1]

My favourite memories involve Lu, a Spatula, some poofing, Michelle spewing and ranting, speculation about Katherine's various alien parts, wednesday morning quarterbacking on fridays, radioactive flying monkeys, SD's puns and affair with a ficus, a certain French Tart we all used to know, collecting GLA's and pretty much everything that SnarkHunter posted. As for favourite ep...I think Wedding Bell Blues is one of the best followed by To Russia with Love.

I'm currenty addicted to Lost and 24. I catch an occaisonal episode of Scrubs or The Amazing Race, but that's about it. My TV watching is pretty intermittent.

[> [> ROTFLOL - yes I think the old days at Maeves is definately what I liked best about JAG.... Spatulas and fiscuses and flying monkeys, and spew alerts, and SVEN AND JORGEN! I mean - you just can't find entertainment like that just anywhere! -- Aria, 16:48:42 04/29/05 Fri [1]
