Subject: He smirked lightly, dropping his empty glass onto a passing waiters tray before he straightened the lapels of his armani suit. "Can't crash a public place..." He shrugged a little, running a hand over his head slowly before he tipped his head to the side and regarded her. "You clean up nicely." He stated in an offhand compliment, one of those that you weren't sure if it was really a compliment or not. "So whats your intrest in this party, sweetheart? It wasn't normal for her to stand around with someone exhanging barbs, she would have normally left the other person alone, it wasn't her style to continue to take it.. but she knew no one at this party and really had no where else to go. She hadn't wanted to let him know about her business, but since that was where this evening was headed, she decided to let him in on it.) I am trying to make a few contacts. (She said, smiling at a couple that passed her, the woman nodding at her. Her eyes went back to him.) I am a designer. (NT) -- Karlie, Mon, Oct 24 2005, 8:08pm PDT
