Subject: That made him cringe inwardly, it was rare he did anything without getting something in return. "No problem." He lifted the scotch to his lips, taking a long drink. He was feeling a little on edge that night and he wasn't sure why but hopefully the quality scotch would help take some of the anxiety off his shoulders. He was a little highstrung at times, a little anxious about life. He was a successful young man, he made a name of himself at a young age but that also placed a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.

  • (Karlie might be a woman who enjoyed the attention of men, but she didn't lead them on unless there was a reason for it. In this case, since he had done something nice for him, she wasn't going to lead him on. She didn't plan on sleeping with him because he was arrogant, rude and self-centered, and she didn't have the desire nor the energy to stroke some rich kid's ego.
