Subject: (She followed his gaze, her own coming back to him after a moment.) Not really.. granted, I love fashion and I love the cutthroat nature of the business.. (She tilted her head and sent the stray strand of hair dropping to the other side.) I would much rather spend my time with my boys. (She said with a smile as she thought of Adam, Jake and Gabe.) They might not look as classy as these people, but they are genuine and they look out for me. (She had said quite a lot without thinking, but she didn't mind this time.. it was true- she had it good with her guys.) And the girls that I am friends with don't look at you like they know you then go and stab you in the back when they turn around.

  • He nodded a little at that, glancing around for a long moment before he cleared his throat. "Well, at least you've got the right view on the crowd, it's cut throat and they'll tear you down in a second. You have to play their game or get off the field." He stated, crossing his arms over his chest as he gazed around and then settled his eyes back on her slowly. "It's a lesson you need to master quickly if you want to get anywhere in this kind of business - image is everything." (NT) -- Nick, Tue, Oct 25 2005, 7:27pm PDT
