Subject: (She attributed the sharp flash of attraction she felt at his closeness to the alcohol and nodded her agreement of his plan, crossing her legs at the ankle when she was sitting down, taking out her compact and checking her makeup, frowning at the hair out of place. She sighed and spent a few moments carefully tucking the strand back into her hair clip, tilting her head to make sure she had secured it correctly. Her eyes shifted to a couple of other women her age prowling the room.. and she wondered why she didn't just do the same.. it was obvious that being with Nick got her into this crowd and in with some favor.. so why didn't she just let things happen as nature intended.. she let her eyes move to him then. He was definitely worth it, even if he did need to be slapped every now and then.. )

  • It was also obvious that Nick was a fairly popular man as he got stopped numerous times on his way to the table to get her a plate of different finger foods and a bottle of water that was of course poured into a crystal glass by one of the waiters. Finally getting away from his adoring female public, he made his way back over, placing the plate down. "Nibble on some of that, the food will soak up the alcohol." He smiled a touch, sitting down.
