(She let her brow furrow just a little at the brush off, wondering what he was thinking.. wondering what she was thinking.. this was just an all around strange evening for her.. but then again she had wanted to get in here for her business and she knew he was right.) All right then. (She said, walking over to get another glass of water to take with her, her mouth was dry and a dry mouth was not good for schmoozing. She ended up some long moments later near the other side of the event talking to a couple of other younger designers and models who were all discussing another line that she was familiar with. Because her name had been spread around a little, they accepted her into the conversation and she fit right in, debating the merits of one designer and boldly expressing distaste for another.. she could definitely find a couple of allies among this group. Her eyes were sparking as she argued passionately, but good-humoredly, with a young man who worked for a modeling agency.)
