Subject: He smirked lightly, not really caring particularly about the coulette but he was decent at catching onto things quickly and even if he knew nothing about the fashion talk he could act like he did pretty damn convincingly. "Would you like another water?" He questioned, dipping his head next to her ear to murmur the question quietly - playing the role of the doting date. It wouldn't look good for it to be found out she was here without an invite so having her on his arm was just making people assume she was his date for the evening.
