Subject: (She rolled her eyes, leaning back against the seat and pushing her hair back from her face. She stared at the headliner of the car.) Some girl bumped into me.. and the strap on my dress broke.. (She flipped the strap over her shoulder and sighed. . it was the least of her worries now.) And when I looked down to fix it.. this person in black just- bulldozed me. (She said shaking her head and pulling down the visor to look in the mirror. She laughed suddenly.) I look like the creature from the black lagoon.. (She put her hand over her mouth and looked over at him.) Oh God.. this is going to be all over the papers tomorrow. (She flopped back in the seat.) Just take me to the morgue..

He couldn't imagine some covert looking person sneaking in just to push her into the water and run away, that would just be silly and strange not to mention obvious.
