Subject: He took his chances and brushed his lips across her cheek before he took her bags from her and nodded to her friends. "Yeah...lead the way, you know the mall better then I do." He offered her a shy - believe it or not - smile, still unsure of her reaction to him.

Sometimes I think I'm scared
Sometimes I know
I feel like making love
Sometimes I don't
I feel like letting go, maybe not
I feel like giving up

  • At his kiss - though brief and light as it was - her eyes slid softly shut and she was quiet there for a long moment before just murmuring a soft word of thanks for him taking her bags and glanced over her shoulder to say a quick goodbye to her friends. She took a deep breath as she turned back to face him and then gestured in the direction that she started to walk - almost reaching for his hand, but not sure about that just yet. "I didn't mean those things I said, Siah..." Her voice was soft and clearly remorseful - no matter how mad, she would never ever again tell anyone who she loved that she hated them. What if something had, god forbid, happened to one of them over the past couple days? You never knew.. (NT) -- Lilah, Fri, Oct 22 2004, 1:02am PDT
