Subject: she looked around the mall with a frown, folding her arms across herself defensively, she wasn't much of a fan of crowds. With little hesitation, she responded to his question "Borders. I want to go to Borders." there she could surround herself with books, immerse herself and forget about life for a while. Books had always been her friend, what she always turned to when she felt the need to escape. Now was the perfect time to surround herself with escape opprotunitys

  • So apperantly they weren't going baby shopping, they were going Jordan shopping. Instead of argueing though he just nodded and headed towards borders, his hand dropping from her back and shifting into his pocket as they walked. Clad in low slung, faded jeans, flip flops, a tight graphic tee and his hair mussed he looked a lot like the college kids bumming around here. (NT) -- Gavin, Thu, Sep 16 2004, 10:53pm PDT
  • she was quite good at disappearing when she wanted to be, now being one of those times. she headed towards the books for expectant mothers and beyond. Despite the fact that he had a book at the apartment, she needed one for herself. Whenever she felt lost there was always a book to tell her what to do. And luckily, there were plenty of books on babies and pregnancy. She had never been considered the maternal type and had no experience what so ever with babies, so the idea of having one of her own was truly frightening. Being surrounded by the books that had all the answers was a great comfort (NT) -- Jordalyn, Thu, Sep 16 2004, 11:04pm PDT
